Octopussy brings a touch of Bond-style mischief to Soi Boomerang.

Part gentlemen’s club and part small go-go, the venue centres around a compact dance stage with seating arranged close to the action. A recent refurbishment sharpened up the interior and added more private curtained areas, while a pool table now sits toward the rear. Rooms are also available on site, giving Octopussy the full late-night gentlemen’s-club setup.

The atmosphere tends to pick up later in the evening, with girls, music and a more enclosed feel than the open beer bars around Buakhao.

A little Bond, a little Boomerang, and plenty octopussy in between.
