Cooters is one of those Soi 6 bars with a little more history behind it than the name might suggest.

The venue was formerly Scooters Bar, part of the retro British-themed chain that once had several locations around Pattaya. These days it's under the Better Group, with the original double-width premises having been divided between Cooters and its sister bar, Wet Six, next door.

It's a fairly typical Soi 6 setup, with an open frontage, a good-sized team of girls and plenty of opportunities to sit down for a drink and some company. The bar also advertises private rooms upstairs, while the seating out front gives visitors a good view of the afternoon activity along the soi.

Scooters may have suited the retro music scene, but Cooters is a setting that feels rather more at home on Soi 6.
