King Kong feels like a little piece of the old Soi 6 hiding behind a closed door.

Step inside and the street almost disappears. The room is dark, narrow and properly air-conditioned, with none of the giant screens or open-front spectacle that now dominates much of the soi. Instead, King Kong keeps things deliberately close and direct - a cold beer, a small group of girls and the sort of intimate setup that earned the place its long-standing reputation as one of Soi 6’s classic BJ bars.

There’s an old-school honesty to it. King Kong knows exactly what it is, and after all these years it doesn’t need to change its formula.
