Lighthouse has been guiding late-night wanderers off Walking Street for years, its blue glow cutting through the signs around it like a beacon for anyone not yet ready to call it a night.

Inside, things get much more compact. A central stage takes over most of the room, the seating sits close to the dancers and there’s very little distance between watching the show and feeling part of it. That intimacy has always been part of Lighthouse’s character — small enough to feel personal, but lively enough that the room can build quickly once the seats start filling.

After spending some time dark, Lighthouse is shining again and settling back into its old patch of Walking Street.

Not every lighthouse is there to keep you out of trouble.
